We all have times when we feel as if things are not going our way. We often feel depressed, sad and lonely. These are the times when our faith is being tested. These are the times that we need to be more aware of our feelings. We need to be able to care for ourselves before we can care about others. We need to understand that we cause the people around us to be more aware of our situation if we discuss it with them.
We need to understand that when we are open with our emotions we make ourselves open to improving our situation. We may feel as if we are making ourselves vulnerable but we are actually making ourselves strong by putting ourselves in a position of being able to improve our situation.
There are times when we make ourselves vulnerable that we come to an understanding with the person who we need to speak with. These times are always beneficial to the relationship. When it does not work out this way, that is very good also because we have made our stance clear and we are also being open and honest as to what we we want for ourselves.
When we are feeling as if things are not going our way we need to be brave and open and talk to those involved. We need to understand that we may not receive the answer we want but we will be in a better position to get our voice heard by the other people.
We need to understand that we will always have times hen we get hurt but we need to be honest with ourselves and others. We need to be more aware of what we are feeling, whether it be in dealing with our grief, our feelings about something or someone, sadness, loneliness, etc. We cannot move on from the situation unless we bring it to the forefront. – John
